About Us

For more than 100 years, Boy Scouts of America has helped build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun.

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programs for young people that build character, become role models, and helps them develop into responsible participating citizens.

Our members assist and encourage our boy led scout troop to practice leadership, morally, and ethical skills that will help provide the necessary foundations to lead and the requirements that every scouts will need to advance in life.

Troop 475 has been chartered with St. Daniel the Prophet for over 60 years and has had over 80 boys earn the rank of Eagle Scout. Through our Leadership and Advancement Program, scouts can learn about and experience a wide variety of subjects and advance in rank at the the same time by earning merit badges and participating in community service. Some of our outdoor activities include camping, fishing, hiking and skiing. We participate in community service events such as Food Drives, projects at Ronald McDonald House and Little Red Schoolhouse, and events at St. Daniel the Prophet.

Vision Statement

The Boy Scouts of America will prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law.

On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
